How many people attend a workshop?

We can host up to 10 people on each workshop.

How do I book a workshop?

Please go to our bookings page. If you prefer you can contact us at info@blackswansstudio.co.uk and we can issue you with an invoice to pay us directly. Full payment is required on booking a workshop.

Is it accessible for mobility issues?

The studio is on the ground floor but the floor may be slightly uneven as it is tiled from the old cowshed. There are however two small steps to access the toilet. Please let us know if this is a problem, we can provide ramps for the steps.

What do I bring with me?

We provide all the tools that you need. You can bring a notebook and pen for taking personal notes about the class. If you have any tools, favourite fabrics or yarns you prefer to use, do bring them along.

Can I travel to the workshop by public transport?

Yes you can, we are about 10 minutes walk from Princes Risborough station on the Chiltern Line from Marylebone or Oxford.

Where are you?

We are just outside Princes Risborough. If you are travelling by car; the nearest motorway is the M40. The barn is on the A4010, just outside Princes Risborough, watch out for signs to the Repair Barn at Culverton farm, we are here.

Is there parking available?

There are spaces to park opposite our studio. Parking will be signposted on the day of the workshop.

Do you provide lunch?

Yes, we provide a seasonal vegetarian lunch as well as delicious cake for the day long workshops. You will receive an email shortly before the workshop date to enquire of any allergies. For a half day workshop you will have plenty of drinks and more delicious cakes to fuel a creative mind and hands!

Can I buy a voucher for a friend?

Yes of course! We can email you a gift voucher.

Do you do private Parties?

Please email us directly for parties and we can work out the details. Generally our workshops usually run on Thursday daytime/evening or Saturday day time.

Can I get a refund?

As a small business we are unable to offer refunds on any of our workshops or gift vouchers. If you are unable to attend we can offer you a voucher for another workshop only if the space can be filled by our waiting list. Alternatively you can gift your ticket to an appreciative friend.
